Environmental policy
We work to the ISO 14001 standard. We reduce the environmental footprint of production systematically and invest in technologies that limit our impact on the environment.
What we do in production
The biggest impact comes from production itself, not from the office. So we concentrate on what we bond with, what we burn and what is left over.
Water-based dispersions with zero solvent content
For upholstery and wrapping we use water-based dispersions of cross-linking polyurethane adhesives. That removes both the handling of solvents in production and their presence in the finished material.
Cleaner, adhesive-free lamination
In flame lamination the layers are held by molten PUR foam, which acts as the adhesive. No external bonding agent enters the process.
Efficient nesting to minimise leather waste
The cutter software nests the parts for maximum material yield. With genuine leather, which is priced by the square decimetre, that means noticeably less waste.

- With an emphasis on prevention, we protect the environment by reducing pollution in the areas that arise from the context of our organisation.
- Regular evaluation
- We evaluate and review our effect on the environment regularly and objectively, and implement the measures needed to improve it.
- Assessment of new technologies
- Based on the risks and impacts assessed, we take measures not only in existing production but also when introducing new products, technologies and materials.
- Dialogue and compliance
- We work with the public, local authorities and interest groups and maintain a dialogue with them. We undertake to meet the requirements of the laws, decrees and regulations relating to environmental protection.
The means of achieving these aims is the environmental management system, which we maintain and improve on a continuous basis.
Backed by certification
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001. The certificate is issued by TÜV and we renew it regularly.

Trees for Life
Every pack of paper that passes through our hands was once part of a living tree. That is why we take part in the Trees for Life environmental programme, run with the support of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
For every fifty packs of OFFICEO paper we buy, one tree is planted.
