Three projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. A new cutter, energy-efficient lighting and the ongoing development of visual inspection using artificial intelligence.
Projects supported by grant funding
We have used grant funding for machinery that directly increases the accuracy of production and reduces energy consumption. One project is currently running.
Automation of visual inspection using AI
We are developing two innovative devices for automated measurement of geometric accuracy and quality assessment of leather parts. They combine elements of artificial intelligence and photonics. The aim is to catch defects that the human eye cannot reliably catch across dozens of parts a day.
Innovation of the production process and products
We used the grant funding to purchase a new Zünd D3 2XL-3200 cutter including accessories. The equipment increased both the accuracy of the products and the yield from the input materials, which shows above all on genuine leather.
Measures to increase energy efficiency
We used the grant funding to purchase a multi-ply Bullmer Procut D 8001 cutter including accessories and to replace the lighting in part of the production area. Both reduce electricity consumption in production.
